The purpose of the Personal Data Act (“PDA”) is to protect your personal data and to prevent violation of your personal integrity by unlawful processing of personal data. Your personal data may only be processed if you have given your consent, or if such process is lawful under the PDA or other legislation. Personal data submitted to Bodymarkers AB (”Bodymarkers”) through registration in Bodymarkers’ application or on Bodymarkers’ webpage or thereto related media, through submitting blood sample or through information that is otherwise registered in connection with the use of Bodymarkers’ self-testing kit (the ”Product”) will be processed by Bodymarkers. When processing the personal data, Bodymarkers undertakes to protect and respect your personal data. As a user of the Product, you agree to always protect your information about your user name and password and not to disclose them to any third party.
Examples of personal information submitted to Bodymarkers by using the Product are biological material, IP number, e-mail address, details of your visits on the website or application including but not limited to data traffic, location data and other communication data, and other digital addresses and information which you directly or indirectly provide through the use of the Product (which are obtained by, inter alia, cookies on Bodymarkers webpage and application).
The purpose of Bodymarkers’ processing of collected personal data is to administrate and perform the service in the form of providing test results and information which the Product is intended for. Your personal data may also be processed for purposes of research, analysis, statistics and development. Your personal data will be processed for these purposes only.
Within the scope of the provision of the Product and your use of the Product your personal data may be disclosed to, processed and stored by third party companies that Bodymarkers co-operate with in order to provide the Product and thereto related services. Bodymarkers may also use external companies to provide infrastructure and IT services, including but not limited to data storage, monitoring and back-up.
According to PDA, you are entitled, free of charge, once per calendar year, after submitting a written, signed application addressed to Bodymarkers, to receive information about which of your personal data that is collected and processed and the purpose of the processing. You also have the right to request rectification as regards your personal data that Bodymarkers process regarding you. The application is sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. I hereby give my consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with what is stated above and that this processing could take place in the United States or in another country within or outside EU/EEA.
